An incredible and rare 18th century Belgian wrought-iron gun rack from a hunting lodge in Southern Belgium designed for use at hunting parties. A silhouetted game-bird sits on the top. The rack has six arms to cradle the stocks, and clips near the top to hold the barrels in place. Scrolled hooks at the top are meant to hold powder and/or game bags.
We acquired this from a collector who owns a hunting lodge near Durbuy, Belgium.
