A wonderful 6.5 quart, 1.5 mm thick, early 20th century French copper pot with heavy bronze handles from the famous New York kitchenware boutique, Bazar Français. Charles Ruegger opened his kitchenware shop, Bazar Français, in 1874 and moved the company to 666 6th Ave. in 1929. It remained at that location until it closed in 1975. Marked "Bazar Français, New York, 666" on the underside and marked "24" on the side, indicating the diameter in centimeters. This pot has been newly re-tinned and professionally polished.
