The beautifully sculpted pear-shaped saddle seat narrows gracefully toward the front before rising into a subtle lip at the back, a form as elegant as it is practical. Below, gently tapered turned legs are anchored by bold ring-turned stretchers, while the stretchers have been worn so completely by generations of resting feet that their once-round profiles are now perfectly flat.
