French Art Deco always understood the seduction of surface, and this burled walnut center table leans into it unapologetically. The circular top is inlaid in a radiating parquetry starburst, the burl swirling outward from a mother of pearl medallion at the center like light breaking across water. Every inch of the surface catches movement differently, shifting between shadow, depth, and sheen.
Beneath, the base turns sharply architectural. An eight sided faceted column tapers downward into an octagonal plinth trimmed with restrained brass detailing, grounding the table with the kind of geometric confidence that defined the best French interiors between the wars.
